Zoe Saldana's parents Asalia and Aridio Saldana, were born on the 19th June, 1978, in Passaic New Jersey. The actress was born in New Jersey's Passaic to Asalia Nazario and aridio Saldana. Her family was from Queens, New York. The family she was raised with moved from Queens, NY and to the Dominican Republic when she was 10, and lived in the Dominican Republic for 7 years.
