Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them, teach, and be Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton and is the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her productions as a young girl and observing her mother at work. Anna was a part of numerous commercials as a young child. Anna was transferred to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged. Anna was changed her religion to Judaism and married Seth Cooperman in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured on CNN's all-time favorite television couples list.
